What an excellent weekend with superb roads and scenery that was - GBR2012 (http://thewellers.us/ralliesandrides/Iron%20Butt/GBR2012/GBR2012.htm).
(Edit: We're making progress with the Iceland photos...)

WOW ! thanks (again) for another superb report and pictures, I never fail to be impressed by the quality of your reports
I'm interested to se that you have a twin Sat Nav set up on your bike
The mile or so on the Umbrial pass isn't washed down gravel - it's unmettled surface!

Thanks. I'm just about to swap the 550 out and put in another 660. I'm hoping I won't then have to decide which one to follow!

Oh is it? It looked like 'proper road' underneath the gravel.

I finally, after some delay, got my 660 and loaded Mp3 etc., etc., and I'm very impressed with it, now I just need to practice before the France trip at the end of this month.
Thanks again for a great entertaining report Kevin

Done it wet and dry, and it's always the same. About a mile or two of unmettled surface a third of the way up / 2/3 down!
I also find the Swiss not really keen on barriers on the corners - why bother with armco when you can nail a couple of bits of wood to the road-side!
