Hello there, quick question. Are the screens on all models interchangeable?? IE does a Std Lower Screen from a 2009 fit onto a 2012 bike??
Want a good scratch free STD screen from a Pre 2010 model.
Thanks
Daz
All compatible as far as I'm aware
 thanks fella's
I've got a standard 2012 screen if any one is looking for one.
There ya go Darren... sorted.
:mfr_lol: I have a standard 2012 screen already but its crap. :mfr_lol:
Gonna fit a lower std screen from a pre 2010 for summer and get a nice aftermarket taller wider screen with a cut out to aid back pressure later in the year ready for colder weather.
Is the 2012 screen any taller than the 2010 screen?
The 2010 screen is fine for me on full height even at 5'11" If you were any taller it could be a problem.
Not sure mate but If I put the screen in highest posn and bow my head its nice and quiet. However, sat up straight, I get buffeted about and back pressure pushing me forward.
I'm 6ft 1inch. tall
I had the same trouble with the old 2009 model when fitted with the higher screen.
Short one works for me when riding on A and B roads. Not great for long motorway miles though.
I am hoping to get a good aftermarket tall screen ready for my Scotland trip next year.
Any recommendations???
Well I am 6' 3" tall and have added a laminar lip onto my standard 2011 screen and find when right down its fine to keep cool, and when it's up it's excellent protection from buffeting.
Just my shillings worth.

How much? I have an idea to cut one right down flush with the dash and tint it.

The taller Kawasaki accessory screen that was/is available on the 2009 model became standard fitment on all GTRs from 2010 onwards, I'm not sure exactly when this spec change took place

Darren, I am 6' 2" and very happy with my Calsci XL. Get good ventilation when fully down and excellent protection when fully up. I also have fitted handlebar risers which leads to a more comfortable but more upright riding positon.
Thank's bud, will look into one of those. Not sure on risers, will see how I get on.

One job on the list is to change the screen also. I'm 6'1" and with standard screen up still get wind blast plus that strange "pull" forward at the higher setting. I always liked MRA's on me Tigers but it seems there are 2 available now, the shorter std MRA and a MRA C-Screen. One of e-bay (offshore seller) and its £149 & £16.00 P&P. Anyone got experienceof these 610mm screens.
MRA quality is excellent but I'd like it to perform as well at that price.
Darren - I have a mint 2008 screen you can have - I've just bought the massive cee baileys one, so my old one is surplus. Where are you in the UK? £50 gets you it!!
any pics of the cee baileys fitted to your bike pig,and what do you thick over your standard screen and what price. cheers

Sorry mate missed this post. I bought a Short one from a guy on Ebay and its brand new as it was swapped straight away for a taller one. Tried it out Sunday on a 160 miles round trip to Squires, Pickering, Scarborough, Fridaythorpe and back. Suits me great for warmer Months, the wind blast takes the wieght off the wrists a bit and keeps me cool.
I will however be getting a big Calsci or C Baily's Screen for the Winter months.
Thank's for the offer though bud.
