at the moment i have done 2560 mile's on my gtr,i'm going to corwall & wale's in 2 week's time & i'm a little worried about going over the 4,000 mile mark for the service, would you worry about going 500--600 mile's over the 4,000.

Personally no, it wouldn't bother me. I've just had my 11.250 mile service, the bike had done over 12k. No issues whatsoever. Kawasaki even honoured a warranty claim.

I had my initial 600 service at 750, the second was supposed to be 3750 well that was in excess of 4000 miles and I will not bother getting the next one until 8000 + as I think the miles is only advisory.

if your getting near the 4,000 mile mark when your away, just phone the nearest kawasaki dealer the day before. most dealers will beable to fit in the 4,000 mile service the same day or even the next day. it will most likely cost the same as your local dealer. it's obviously got you concerned to mention it. piece of mind is priceless
