I'm reliably informed from a mate at work that Richard Hammond from Top Gear has bought himself a Kawasaki 1400 GTR......could he be amongst us, watching, learning, plucking up the courage to say hi?
I do hope he has bought a proper colour, magnesium, :whistling:
lower gel seat for him then
I wondered how long/who would make the first short comment!
well the "hamster" would be more than welcome on here
mind you I reckon there are already a number of self proclaimed celebs who are current members :mfr_lol:
best get himself a "lower than lower" gel seat then, he's even shorter than me :mfr_lol:
as long as he's not selling with his first post.

anyway Captain Slow has/had an XJR1300 and as far as I know he never turned up on any of the forums...
- love hammie .. esp after his big off
.
Mogster, appearing in the 'court in brief' sectiin of the local rag doesn't count :mfr_lol:
Although i hear in Bradford its a right of passage. I bet LW is a gold medalist by now :whistling:
I was on TV once, a daytime quiz type of show, won it i did, £500 but i blew the £3500 question, May 12th 2004 it was shown at 1pm on channel 3.
Not that i remember all the details mind.

Mog, you crack me up, you should be on tele full time. "The comedians" :mfr_lol:
Captain Slow would try to talk into the mouse to login to an online forum. :help:
Hamster on a GTR would be funny, especially the first time he tried to do a U-turn on gravel.
I have nothing against the vertically deficient but why someone short would buy a bloody huge great TALL bike like the GTR or a dirt/trail/adventure bike is beyond me.
About as stupid as me buying an FS1E for a European tour. :scooter: :mfr_lol:
..why someone short would buy a bloody huge great TALL bike like the GTR or a dirt/trail/adventure bike is beyond me.
I'm a short arse at 5ft 7 inch and don't find the gtr1400 to be a problem :nono: infact when I'm riding the gtr I feel just as confident than on my zx6r which as approx the same seat height.. ok I've fitted a lower gel seat on the gtr which is slightly lower but to be honest it dosen't make that much difference. the other reason I bought the gel seat is for comfort to make the touring trip I've got planned in a few weeks more easier on my arse... it's not imperative to "flat foot" both sides on any bike :nono: as long as you can get one foot flat on the ground I've confidence in your ability to handle "what ever bike you have" the gtr is as light as any other bike. I've owned my gtr1400 for nearly 2 years and not once I've I felt I could not handel the size

OK so the Furry Hamster turned out to be a Red Herring.
I guess as administrator only Kwikasfuki can check this out but I have been "pulled over" twice and the name on my license has saved me from a few points I'm sure !
(Sort of ironic that I join a forum with a fair % of black rats !
Certainly no celebrity though !

I reckon there be a queue to press the ban button as well! :2guns:
For that woman only one button would do......the :censored: exterminate button. Am I allowed to say that? :tank: :whistling:
Especially if she was trying to sell something as a first poster!!!
Isn't she technically your boss? :whistling:

hahahaha!.....
as kwikasfuki says its quite topical and there nothing celebrity about it. but mention it to
plod and the response has varied from "your 'avin a larf!" to "rather unfortunate sir!"
i can tell you first hand though that journalists will do anything for a story as my dear old mum will testify - real gutter press in this country.
anyway, off thread a bit but anyone got experience of the remus okami exhaust can and does it compare well against the hexacone? probably giving up with yoshi search.

:stupid: I just try to avoid the whole sordid 'Work thing' ....... mind you if you'd seen who I had in the Gym yesterday you'd have been straight on to the Gutter Press.... :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: ..... 'Bridal Boot Camps'.... that'll make ya fake tan run.. :gunsmilie:

now.. where the nearest layby where I can blend in and catch some poor unsuspecting speeder for a few miles over
Thanks for entertaining us with your (sometimes) hilarious guesses but I reckon it's not really fair to keep you in suspense any longer. Don't post it on here directly please , but think of the G20 demo in London a few years ago and the newspaper seller. There we go..... you may see the irony in me joining here now. I've had a fair few experiences since that happened.
Kwikasfuki, thanks for stringing 'em along and sorry to hear about your spill - I'm sure you'll be back into it in no time.
Have voted for next years venue by the way!
Cheers. ( Mr T).
Yeah, thats what I thought your name was.....I was just giving others a chance first. :whistling:
Wow! Can't believe it. Used to like you in the A Team and more recently advertising Snickers. Who would have thought eh? Fool!
Have voted for next years venue by the way!
where did you vote? do we allow thugs?
Bit harsh - judge not lest ye be judged young man! Anyhow its looking good for my neck of the woods for the 2013 meet. I voted for Devon but I dont mind doing a long 'un for the weekend.
You can sort of rely on the weather down there normally.
