the best practice is practice. I bought the full venture film kit for my gtr and started off just doing the small bits like mirrors. Make up a soapy solution using baby bath rather than wash up liquid. Dont worry if you seem to have a olt of bubbles under the surface, they will go. Use the supplied sqeezy or you own , make sure surface is proper proper clean, liberally spray the surface and both side of you film and come up with a way of removing the film without leaving thumb prints on the under side, spray soap solution to the top side as your are sqeezing your  bubbles out from the centre first, hairdryer on the difficult bends, if you are sure all air is out dont worry about the soapy bubbles they will go, takes over night to dry.

When I bought my bike, I ordered it with all the standard kwak options... Except that one! Only because they said I had to stick it on myself....

So I thought  :single fuck: basically at the time... However, I wish I had done it on the panniers at least because my Wife has difficulty getting her leg over..... Ahem

You can buy some sheets of clear plastic from Hien Gericke, cheap as chips and do a top job, easy to fit as well, just the job to protect the panniers.

Go to your local sign shop and ask for clear external film make sure you ask for 10 year film ( it will not fade/ yellow has UV inhibitors ) make a template and fit as above with soapy solution, cost about £5,  simples !!!, well worth fitting though, my other half also scuffs her boot on the pannier.

I had the kit presented to me by the dealer, who didn,t want to fit it,at any price.Went on ok,and did the job.Went to a sign shop and got some textured black vinyl and fitted that instead. My bikes a green one,and the black on top of the pannier looks great against the black plastics and green paint.(I think so.).

R.R a sign shop is a signwriter / grafix outlet, they cut and some fit your lettering / grafix, they do shop signs vehicle lettering etc, google signwriting for your area.

I have a blue GTR with carbon fibre film on it, looks great.
