Are you wiring front and rear? Front are easy. Straight to the accessory leads. You need to wire a switch to dim as well
Same with rear unless they also activated with brake lights.

Which running lights are you thinking of getting

That's what I have on mine.

For the Cree you must dim them at night time otherwise you will blind traffic.

I have a PDF of the genuine workshop manual. It is 20 mb file size, so if anyone can tell me how and where to put it, I will do so gladly if it helps.
He now stands back and waits for the deluge of replies with suggestions, some clean, some not so clean.

So an on off switch? Are there three progs sticking out?

One will connect to +12v, one to ground and the other to the white Cree LED wire

One the left hand side, where the accessory leads are. If you go up the side towards the mirrors, there's a gap for it to go. Fits nicely there.

Mate, that looks really nice. I think you may attract some attention from five-o though.

It should fail an MOT but would only be illegal if it flashed,  was red or changed the perceived size of the vehicle,  ie these boy races driving around on just their blue side lights.  The perceived size of the vehicle has changed.  Where on the beast you have two whacking great Headlamps above so the size hasn't changed.
If you are going to have plod trouble which I doubt on this type of bike you are looking at a £30 non endorsed ticket for failing to maintain lights

Hopefully plod will leave me alone!!
I have put a connection in line which can easily be taken apart for the MOT.
Will be putting the Cree lights on in a couple of weeks, once I've made a bracket to suit.
