Post by: wiltsguy on July 03, 2012, 06:51:29 PM
Noticed lots of GTR's in the posse of outriders - including an all white one.

There have been GTRs on the Tour since 1986.
The first 1400s appeared in 2007 just prior to the official release of the bike to Joe Public.

Yep that's what we like to see, shorts and teeshirt with fingerless gloves in case he wants to scratch his  :asshole: !

[rant]The sheer number of people that go around on bikes with shorts and T shirt in France and Italy is just incredible.  OK so it is hot here, but I'd rather sweat my nuts off than scrape my  :asshole: off if I were to misjudge something...

You can tell the brits are out because they all wear the proper gear (well, mostly)

When I was living in Paris I rented a 1300 for a few days (back when it was still possible to rent proper bikes!) and I took the metro with a huge rucksack fulla leathers. Once I signed the papers and handed over a ridiculous deposit, i spent 20 mins getting ready! The bloke in the shop stood there smiling and said how pleased he was that finally someone came to rent a bike with decent gear!

My pet hate is the R1 or 'blade rider in full leathers with his girlfriend on the back in miniskirt and heels. GRRRRRRR!  :censored:

[/rant]

right back to thinking about work....

Nice shot, Pistole!

Is it me or do they have really small screens?
