currently onroute to channel tunnel, i got a quick F1 error thrown at me , its happened a few times in the past, nothing ever comes of it, is it something to do with the key fob and radio masts ??
Coincidentally my amber light and F1 came on for a split second on a ride the other day. No idea why, never done it before and hasn't done it since. Just a blip & I'm not going to worry about it.
I have had the F1 momentarily flash up on the screen and the disappear - it has only happened once and as nothing stopped or exploded I guessing it was just a glitch

Both of my GTR's have done it. A great adrenaline rush for a second and then carry on as normal.

It's telling you there is a fault in the fuel injection!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But they all have a brain storm from time to time.!!!!!!! It will be ok. :yes: :clap:

I got the F1 flash at me today.. Coming to the end of the A46 to jump on the M40, as I shifted down the gears it flashed at me just the once.. Didn't do it again... Phew.. :wacko:

Actually a great idea to resurrect this thread as it shows how the f1 error is such a random blip
I actually had it flash briefly yesterday as well. I was wondering if it was because I'd gone from the premium unleaded to the normal unleaded.
I think the bike prefer the premium stuff.
By the way; it's an FI error, as in Fuel Injection. Not f-one error.

I wonder if these bikes talk to each other. I pulled up at some traffic lights this morning and it did it to me too. A big red light on the left and FI error on the display for a split second. Glad to hear its nothing serious :yes:
