:rip:...... yup sold this morning... well swapped anyway..... me and Smarty were looking for a new car and the dealer is a big Car/Bike affair and with all the probs and hassle i've been having with the GTR it was a bit of a no brainer to get shot of it.
Tis a bloody shame cos I do love the way the thing goes, but with the way I ride I have to be confident with the front end, brakes etc, and I've lost that... so decision made, deal done.... I'm sure a more 'mature' rider and one who is more tolerant to vibes than me will get many miles of pleasure out of it.
Mogs
How about looking for a second hand one that you can extensively test drive? Or have the previous issues put you off for good?
I'll prolly wait now untill next years big trip before i make a decision on what to get next,
i've got the Tuono, which i have done long distance on without too much problem, it's just easier on a tourer with hard luggage....so if I want to get away again this year i'll just dig out the soft luggage and a really big pillow to sit on.
Talk about a shock, I thought you loved it faults and all.

I can understand his frustration with the bike and the vibration issue, it's pissing me off right now as well, and if it's not cured then I shall shout from the rooftops and trade it back in for a new Honda.

yes I do love the thing tis a brill bike, but as i said I've really lost faith in the front end and found my self being 'cautious' with application of the front brakes... which is a bad thing..
