Title: Low battery transponder
Post by: TRIGGERHAPPY on June 09, 2012, 08:37:50 PM
Hi, the warning for transponder low batt started flashing for 16 days ago. Changed battery in both fobs,i used duracell batteries. Hit the roe deer the day after so the bike has not been used before yesterday. The fobs have been lying home.
Did a short ride to the shop, and when i switched on the key if started flashing again. Drove home and tried th other fob,and got the same flashing. Havent tried new batteries today. Forgot to buy.
Have any body experienced this? Are going to change batteries again, but I think it's odd that both fobs have low batteries.

Tried yesterday to turn of the flashing. Pressed in the upper button and held it in,and then pressed the lower button.
Nothing happend, still flashing.  Tried it again to day,and then I got to switch of the flashing, but then the red warning lamp to the left in the dash came on. This I think are normal, but if you are riding in the dark this red lamp are going to be anoying.
