Title: Slip-on
Post by: TRIGGERHAPPY on June 02, 2012, 01:30:42 AM

Bought a slip-on last fall from england. found it on e-bay. No name on it but it came from beowolfe.
Nice looking and easy to fit, little loud without the db killer.
Think the price where around 110-120£ pluss shipping

Here are some pictures.

That's enough. I have always thought that the standard exhaust looks OK. The pictures have proved how hideous the original exhaust really looks and that I have been kidding myself or am in denial. It's my birthday at the end of this month, so when I get back from Scotland in 2 weeks, guess what I am buying myself. Thanks Triggerhappy for the pics and the dent in my wallet, but even the wife agrees it's ugly, or did she mean me?

Just fun to be helping out :smiley:I tried to pretend that the original would be ok. But the day I picked up the bike and did see it in real for the first time,I just knew it had to go. Looked at many solotions, but  at the end my wallet  get to decide.                But i think it`s a ok slip-on.
Dreaming of a area p full system with flies removed and  a powercommander or another fuel management. Maybe later.
Hope you be happy with your choice. On the american COG forum there are lot`s of treads and pictures of different solotions.

Like the sound of my slip-on,little bit to loud when driving with out the db killer. But it came with the db killer, put it back in
and you will hear a low nice growl. As a friend of mine said,,now it sounds like a real motorcycle

Chris B ...  :mfr_lol: ... You and I the same .. like Mr Wolf I "love" the standard pipe as it came with the Gtr and as I see it it it is the original part and make up of the bike .. BUT I love the howling, gurgling and spluttering of a good aftermarket pipe. I think sometimes I too am in denial ! However, there are times for work where I am out the garage at 0500 hrs in a quiet road with neighbours and young children so I need to hold back for a while !!
When you get one of course we all want to hear it and see it !!

Hi Winston.
How much do you want for the exhaust including post.
If agreeable I will send you a cheque and you can send when cleared or whenever. No rush I will be away all next week.

Cheers
Chris
