Hagon shock for the rear , £300 , what difference will it make, we always ride two up , usually touring ?

I've no experience with Hagon on a GTR but the Hagon company have a great reputation for bike shocks, those seem like good value too
here's an alternative

Max I think I'm correct in saying that an aftermarket shock such as Hyperpro removes the need for OEM pre load adjustment....but I'm not too sure ....mmmmmm more research needed.
In the meantime check this, as it may help in answering your question

Some companies sell shocks with remote preload adjusters.
If the shock doesn't have one, some can be fitted with one.
Hagon do 2 replacement shocks.
One is preload adjusted with a C-spanner. http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?PartNo=M64091 (http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?PartNo=M64091)
The other has a remote preload adjuster. http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?partno=M64091H (http://www.hagon-shocks.co.uk/catalog/partdetail.aspx?partno=M64091H)
Unless your shock has had it, you probably would be wasting your money.
My bike has 50k miles on the OEM shock and it's fine.
Worse still I am a fat-bast (currently 25st 5lbs, was 27st) and my pillion is 16st (was 18st).
Your best bet would be to spend the money seeing a suspension specialist and getting the OEM stuff setup right.
Usually costs about £120 and worth every penny.
Thanks, I was just curious about the remote adjuster. I was planning on going to the local suspension guru and getting the bike to rider setup they do - costs $99 Aus .
