Can anyone supply the Kawa Part no for the 2012 front pads. Are they the same as previous models

i think that they are different as when i had mine done under warrenty they made a point of saying that Kwakaski had sent 2012 discs and pads.... are you changing yours for some reason?? wouldn't EBC ones be a better bet.

This looks like the EBC part no.
This is all part of my battle over the discs worn out at 20k miles. I know the padds were changed in 2010, but I have heard they were changed in 2012. If this is so, it indicates a problem with the 2010 set up which is the base of my argument. If I can establish a 2012 change, I will go to small claims over this.

It may well be that Kawasaki don't deem the change between 2010 & 2012 to be down to a problem, they could simply present a case that the change represented a design improvement. That still wouldn't necessarily indicate that there was a fault with the 2010 discs.
Don't get me wrong I'm behind you 100% on this but I'm just thinking out loud as to how Kawasaki will potentially put the onus on you to prove what you are suggesting. Where are your facts, what evidence can you show the Courts?

My argument will be that there was obviusly a problem, as manufacturers do not change parts unless there is a reason. Clearly after two years, they had identified a problem
