no really..... after yelling at Chiswick Honda yesterday evening because they yet again didn't ring me back to confirm the Luggage arrived for Smartys VFR.. I arrived this morning to collect the Bike to find that they have lost the key to her Bike :hammer: :censored:
Un-fucking-beliveable..... and before you all jump in....yes I know..... moral of the story is don't buy a Honda....
soooo i've been relived of the hidious loan bike and have been driven home and the spare key collected, they are going to fit the boxes and deliver the bike back.....
The Sales manager was a picture when I walked in...... I was suprised he wasn't on his knees begging for me not to beat him sensless... but i have been a picture of calm and patience all through this ordeal..... 'what can i do to make this right' he wailed...... 'VIP passes to the Moto GP or World Super Bikes would be a start...says I :gunsmilie:
Honda. What nightmares are made of.
Ya know Mogs my experience of buying a Honda was almost as bad as yours, utter nightmare that went on and on and on, until I finally waved the :surrender: and sold the complete pile of :shit:. After 18 months of owning it I was in despair, so was glad to see the back of it. And I know we all say things in the heat of the moment ,but I will NEVER buy another Honda. Best of luck with yours, I hope things get better for you and Smarty.
My experience of Honda and Honda dealers has always been very good - I wouldn't rule out buying a Honda when they produce a bike that I would want.

As you know chaps .. I had a VFR 800 on an X plate early 2001 and then a CB1300 .. the dealership was excellent as was the service for all those years. Isn't it a shame they just get all the dealers together and have a common standard of excellence ? I am sure that's what they aspire to but of course in the real world ............ :sad: :sad:
