Title: gtr tick over (idle speed)
Post by: tapps on May 12, 2012, 06:36:13 PM
when my 2012 gtr has warmed up after a run the (idle) tick over is about 1300 rev's,sounds a little fast to me,is the adjuster on the left hand side of the engine,a metal knob on a black pipe.

1200, 1250,1300, all are good.
Much below 1200 and it can sometimes stall when you pull the clutch in when coming to a standstill.
Also, if you have it too low the bike can sometimes "hunt" at low rpm.
