Post by: O.C. on May 10, 2012, 05:34:19 PM
Can anyone make any recommendations for a one piece waterproof for my Gillion the pillion..

She's skinny (unlike me)  :mfr_lol:

There ok are those one piece suits, HG do a few different types but its like being a boil in the bag takeaway if the weather suddenly gets warm.  :sweatdrop:
Would it not be a better option to just get some goretex guaranteed to keep you dry textiles?

Gill has a HG goretex suite, which is the muts nuts, but is concerned about getting very wet (last years journey back from the N.W 200 took 7 hours, in horrendous weather), and she doesn't want a repeat performance..... I can understand that

I reckon she needs an 'over suite' which is just waterproof.....when she's on the bike she wears more layers than a bloody onion anyway  :mfr_lol:

I have spent my near 35 years working outside & as far as I am concerned no one made a water proof proper yet. Try a wet suite...keep you warm on the bike too & you can piss in them ..I do mine...thats why it's always out on balcony to dry.. cant have it in flat as smells like old peoples home..piss smell....!

i work outside too guys, have done for 25 years!!!!!!!!!,but as i dont ride my bike in the wet n only get caught in the occasional shower,i an assure you, this has kept me dry!!!!
but,if i was "constantly" out in the wet i would have some gortex kit for deffinate.
just had a look on mega warehouse web site (old george whites site) they do a hi viz suit for £20!

We have the Kawasaki one piece suit,  in 35 years of riding i can honestly say i have never had anything better, totally waterproof and really warm, the quality is exceptional well worth the money, and they look good too.
