Title: NABD or Farmyard party
Post by: slane on May 10, 2012, 12:22:20 PM
Is anybody other than myself going to the NABD rally this week end at Astle Park , Chelford, Cheshire ?

Or how about the Farmyard Party 15 - 17 June in Helmsley North Yorkshire

I haven't done a bike rally in years.
Last one was the Condom Rally on Mersea Island which is only 30 miles from home.
Dunno if I'll manage it this year either.

If I did I'd do Stormin' The Castle as the roads up there are awesome.
Other than that I used to prefer the smaller rallies.

I can personally vouch for the fact that Slane is a crazy sod.......he calls it "being keen"  :whistling:

He's a top bloke though...just don't tell him I said so  :mfr_lol:

I used to be mad-keen. Did the ElefantTreffen one year in the mid 80s and damned near froze to death.
Was fun sliding down the hill on bin-bag sledges though.
We might have been somewhat less than sober so despite the multiple wrecks and pileups, nobody got hurt.

As I got older and attached we went to less and less rallys.
These days I don't drink much either so I guess I have turned into an old-fuddy-duddy.
