Hopefully, this time next week I should have taken delivery of a nice 11 plate GTR.
I currently have a Tiger 800 but my wife has decided to come out on the bike more often so I thought I`d better get something a little more appropriate. Fingers crossed all goes to plan.
Hi and welcome to the forum.
Wise choice of bike

Lots of info fun and games here so enjoy and join in the fun .
Ah thats what I like, a man thinking of his better half, Mrs Moggie should be as snug as a bug in a rug on the GTR. I am pretty sure that you will both love the bike. Lots of help and assistance on this forum, if needed :185: and Enjoy. cheers Geoff
Owners of the blue ones are the friendliest and most helpful :biker3:

Thanks for welcome folks. You`re very kind. The bike is green and looks really nice.
Mrs Smoggie seems as keen on the bike as I am so I`m hoping the deal can be done. If not this one, then I will carry on looking.
welcome to the madhouse sorry I meant forum  you won't be sorry you choose the gtr  by the way, the magnesium colour is starting to become very popular on here..! there's at least one copy cat on here..! of course I'm not mentioning any names, because he may "huff and puff" my bike down :whistling:

Well, the date has been finalised. Picking up next Monday.
Just in time for a trip to the World Superbike round at Donington the following weekend.
Well done that man  You will enjoy it
Woooooo Hoooooo
GOT IT
Managed to pick the bike up today rather than Monday. Had to be there by 09.00 at the latest so got up at stupid o`clock this morning and rode 150 miles to London.
It was bloody cold but deffo worth the 300 mile round trip. The ride back was much more comfy than the ride down. I hope the missus appreciates all the trouble i`ve gone to. I mean, I`m only doing this for her :whistling: :whistling:
Congratulations  even thou it's a greenie  hope you can make the cotswolds meet end of june  it's going to be a "GTR" of a weekend
