Pretty simple stuff really but I thought I'd share it anyway FWIW.
I like the idea of having a "proper" tool for every job so I knocked this up for the final drive filler plug.
I know the plug only requires minimal torque and you don't need to use a socket handle on it but I just feel more comfortable giving it a nip up with the small 1/4" socket handle that fiddling about with a coin or washer and vice grips - no offence to those who do.
A washer from the builders supplies and an el cheapo 1/4" drive socket from the tool store. A bit of judicious cutting with the dremel, tap the washer into the newly cut slot and hey presto !

You've got a much better looking tool than the official Kawasaki one at a fraction of the cost.
like your idea for the tank grips and the shaft filler plug tool, but got both coverd..! I use a bagster tank cover which acts as a good grip and protects the tank and allows me to use a bagster tank bag, "three in one" also made a tool to fit the shaft filler plug. also had trouble lifting the front wheel on the front paddock stand, the rear wheel would touch the ground before I got enough clearance to to secure the front paddock stand. so binned the paddock stand and knocked this up

Thanks for that useful info.
That's two custom tools I need to make then.
For tapping in the bearings you need this socket from Halfords

Max, no offence taken, I've previously used one of Her Majesty's coins, rather unsucessfully I hasten to add.

the washer that is on the rear axle , under the castle nut is a perfect fit
