Bloody hell. I hope you got home ok without any mishaps. Even I wouldn't want to go out in that type of weather. Not even in the car.   :o

Well I nearly dropped it as I (gently) braked to take the junction in the car park.  At those speeds (i.e.< 5mph) no ABS.... just skidded gently with the bike starting to go over.  Managed to keep it upright until it stopped.  Got off it.  Pushed it to where it is and its still there now - my mate gave me a lift home.

What really gets my goat is its perfectly rideable 2 mile out of Newport......

Guess I'll pick it up on Sunday....

Definately wasnt worth risking damaging it on the way home.

It's best to try and get it on a trailer. I should imagine by Saturday there will be a lot more ice around.

Managed to get it home - took over an hour to get the bike out of the works car park.  Apparently they have a new contractor for gritting the car park but they didn't turn up at all over the weekend or on Friday.  The entire car park is like an ice rink.  Things should be pretty interesting on Monday when several hundred people turn up for work.

I think I'll take the car tomorrow.....

Glad to hear you got your bike out. In snowed here in London yesterday, arrived at my mates just in time to help him lift his bike off the ground
