Went to Snakes pass. Not the wisest choice as there was still snow and ice on the roads.

Made it though  :punk:

I do like Pans - rode 'em for work and loved 'em, ridden on tests and they always come up trumps, even owned one.  Fabulous machine just getting long in tooth now.  Beat the crap out of the FJR = which I have also ridden professionally both work and on test.

My pun was due to this being the GTR forum!

Took a ride down the Great Glen yesterday, wet and windy but still a great ride, down the north bank from Inverness to Fort Augustus, then back up the north bank. The A82 is in a right state, pot holes, bad overbanding and generally worn out - it used to be one of the best roads around.

Going up to Ullapool today, still v wet & windy, but looking forward to it, I'm on the right machine for it

I've had to come into work today due to issues not getting resolved over the weekend. Now that they are resolved, just waiting to dry off a little (as well as charge the Sena), and then I'll be going the long way home.

Might head back via the Cat and Fiddle
