Post by: tapps on April 06, 2012, 06:39:52 PM
is it an easy job to replace the running/side light's,i have aquired a pair of ultra led 501's to replace the oem bulb's.looking at where the bulb's are situated it look'd a bit fiddly to say the least.any pointer's.

15 min job, hand down inside the fairing and twist out the holders. It is easier to undo the panel under the headlight via the plastic pop rivets, easier to get your hand in :ninja:

I normally undo the panel.
Sometimes its longer to put the panel back than swap lights

TBH i found it a tad difficut to get hands in without scraping your skin against all the kawasaki sharp cable ties.   Honestly the panel under the headlight comes off in a snap, no tools required , well maybe a matchstick
