what can one expect from a full tank on there gtr, riding sensibly,as i'm holding the BEAST back as i'm running her in.
Probably the norm I would say would be just under 200 miles per tank, however I've had 240 on a number of occasions. All down to your riding style and the environment you are travelling in.
unless of course it's me, then anything around 130 miles is quite good
Yep :agree: 200 miles, and you should still get that after you have run it in, unless you are a bit savage with the right wrist, which with a bike this big and powerful you dont really need to be. I like to get a move on but still average 52 to the gallon, but must add I never go near motorways :sleep1: Enjoy the bike.
i'm gonna take it to work tonight,chichester--southampton--a27/m27 will give the ECO MODE a try.only done 55 miles on it so far, work & back will put another 90 miles on it,i have 2 week's to get the 600 mile's done for the pre-arranged 1st service.
tapps, I haven't run mine yet in anything but Eco mode. Best I've had so far was 61.5mpg, that was yesterday on my way to York via the A64. 60.4's ok too though :mfr_lol:

I commute 55.6ish miles each way, over 50 of which are on the motorway. I use ECO mode and get two full days commuting if I stick to indicated 75ish (real world 70) with a couple of litres to spare. So, although I've never run it dry, I reckon 250 miles is not out of the question with such riding.
My bike's average economy according to the bike computer is 54mpg, but I know that's more like 50 real world mpg.
I figure ECO mode is giving me 20 miles more from a tank perhaps, enough to extend the range for my two days of commuting between fill ups.
Off the motorway I couldn't really tell you what my average tank range is as I really haven't paid as much attention. Probably under 200 miles.
Well, I don't know how you guys define your tank range but if you mean 'until the Low Fuel warning comes on' then 200 miles is hard to achieve except I cruise on the MW and avoid city traffic.
But that still leaves 4l in the tank and should get you at least another 40 miles before you run into danger of running out. :hammer:
I thought this topic had been thoroughly covered very recently
my average mpg is never above 41 or 42,even when im taking it easy ive never got it to 60+ .
my range appears to be around the 220 mark .

Viper, I would be tempted then to ensure you are running on UK gallons and not US gallons, because it sounds to me like you could be.

Either that !!!!!or you are a half crazed  nutter, who is on the throttle constantly, and revving the nuts off the engine everywhere that you go, all the while having no regard for your machine, your life, or anyone else using the queens highway. :whistling: Of course the end result of all this tomfoolery will be that petrol runs out sooner rather than later and then where will we all be ?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!on these me thinks :scooter: :scooter: :scooter: :scooter: :scooter: and we will all be in deep :shit:!!!!!!!!!!!! :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Exept of course Mr Wolf, who will be getting 200 miles to an egg cup full of petrol on his detuned, sleep :sleep1: enducing :scooter: by the new chinese manufacturer that goes by the name of Yawn  super slow scooters (SSS) for short.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Now then what were we talking about?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes Viper as Steve states it sounds like your consumption could be reading in U S gallons, check it out .

Rant of the day?
It'ill be quite a slog
For you to beat him Mog
But it's still early yet
So I'll not place a bet
Now, summon up the blood prepare to count the score
The games afoot - unleash the dogs of war
But keep it clean and fair- nothing tacky
Remember: you are the knights of Kawasaki
So go ye forth - rev that motor
Do you give a :shit:? not one iota
At end of day or by MaƱana
We will see who's rant is top banana
:gunsmilie: :mfr_lol: :scooter: :biker3:
Oh :shit: I have done it again; Hijacked the thread,
I'd rather be on m'bike
Oh how a run I'd like
But here I am by four walls bounded
From my two wheels, for now I'm grounded
My time upon this forum's been a pleasure
It has so lightened enforced leisure
So 'scuse me if some threads I have jacked on high
To stay in line from henceforth I'will try
And now to have a final say
I wish to all- great fun for Easter day
Na no rant involved, just having a titter

Im gonna check that , once i find out how, you may be right. I dont ride hard and ive got the chicken strips to prove it
You Lonewolf is a Steeley eyed missle man ( Nasa compliment ) you were right and ive just changed it to uk.
On my sums a uk gallon looks about 17% larger so it should record about 7 -8 miles more mpg, i know thats just figures as i was getting that anyway, im just happier now as i always thought the gtr was a thirsty pig

Oh go on  Pick up the gauntlet  (Gaunlets!!!!!!! God, those were the days)
Or rather, consider your gauntlet dropped. Anyway, ranter or titter? Which would you rather be? :mfr_lol:
