hi my names alan (alias) tapps,i have a candy lime green/ebony z1000sx it's a year old & covered 7k,you may have seen me up whiteway's with my pal on a yellow xjr1300 as we often go out on the bike's for a run weekend's,cut a long story short,he test road a GTR from alf's at worthing,he done nothing but sang praises about it,i then allso took it out for a spin,WOW  i loved the ride,we both went back to alf's today,he took it out again & i followed on my sx,on our return to alf's he decided to have it & to keep his xjr as it wasn't worth a great deal in p/x although it's in good nick.i part exchanged my sx,his is ready a week today, mine is on order & will be ready on the 3rd of april, cant wait,it'll be worth it i'm sure.

:185: tapps and congratulations on joining this forum.  Shame about the colour you've ordered but you can always have it resprayed to magnesium later.  :mfr_lol:

Only joking, I haven't seen a lot of green ones but they do look good. Has your mate joined the forum, or is he intending to join?

Hi Tapps

Your bike is green and so am I.......with envy!

I don't really have the right to welcome you because I am just a newbie too and don't even have a GTR (yet!??!).

I have some recent West Sussex GTR riding experience but I have already bored the forum stiff with that though they have been great .  This is a really brill' forum.  Not sure about (next) bike but I am thinking of movng from London t'north

Congratulation and all the very best with the new bike .

Tapps ....  Glad to hear good reports about Alfs .... that is where I bought mine last year and have raved about the service here on the forum. Whiteways Lodge Roundabout is always busy so next time I am out that way I shall look out for you
As we have all said ... you will just love the Gtr
