what a pillock, why would you risk doing that, except of course to prove that you are a total pillock
im a subscriber to valerios youtube channel as he has fabbed some great mods. I saw this the other day and couldnt believe it, he even goes back on the seat! He posts on here frequently peddling his wares , maybe i will remind him of this when he next pops up
I get the feeling Darwinism might come into play.
Mr Wolf,
I could just say: :agree:
But, as I am rarely accused of using one word when three will do so please forgive my hypocrisy but "Potential" is beyond argument (at least among reasonable men) totally fu....g REDUNDANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!
my question is also "why would you" what possible gain would "one" get from doing such pathetic stunt sorry dose not even warrant the name stunt! may be he's not as soft has he look's, "but here again. lol... the road he's using is a straite and as smooth as a babies chufter, but it would only take one small stone and it curtains for the next, but not quite as brave "evil knivel" I just hope when he dose this again. some poor sod on a bike heading towards him, doesn't fall fowl of his immature actions and supidity.
Good to see the road surface was 100% and that his reactions would have coped in case of an unexpected bump....not, doing his jacket zip ha ha!
IDIOT ABROAD PERSONIFIED!!!
2 right Kwaks!( did you see what I did then?)

I misspelt Kwacks!!!!!! :embarrassed:
How cool is that!
Just shows the perfect balance of our beautiful machines and proves why K should install cruise control as standard
Well, didn't you ride their bicycle free-handed when you were a kid?
:listencarefully: Whoever says No is either a liar or a coward.
I sure did like everybody else and strangely enough nobody ever fell off.
Because it's no big deal at all!
Just like a bicycle a motorbike will always try to go in a straight line too.
This is due to gyroscopic forces and the faster you go the more force you have to apply to change direction. :smartass:
There's some surprisingly beige reactions here.

Beige? For sure! But surprising? Yes, I rode my push bike "look mum........." Even once did a motorbike wheelie course (can you imagine it) and rode hands free but all off road in a controlled environment (is there such a thing?).
However, what really matters is the freedom to express an opinion not its value ... as Mr Voltaire, is thought to have said " I may not agree with what you say but..................................................................." :agree: :agree:
Even if, as Mr Smith kindly suggested, elsewhere, a K1600 would solve my 1400gtr windscreen issues, I would really miss this forum.

Come on, you never rode your bicycle free-handed on the footpath or even on the road? :ohplease:
I see kids around here doing it even while riding on the back wheel.
Next thing is you're trying to tell us that you never spoke a lie in your life.
I don't condone riding a bike free handed on public roads, but as I said before it isn't really such a big deal.
I think the only reason why we always have one hand (the right) on the handlebar is that we don't have cruise control and need to operate the throttle.
Hmm, so it's not a big deal riding free handed as you put it on a public road, interesting outlook on life you have there mecki! :biker3:

That's why you're a copper and I'm not. :hammer:
Mr Mecki,
You quote me but misunderstand me : The expression "Look mum........................... ends with No Hands!!!!!!!!! So Yes , of course I did.
Turned a corner,in my carlast week to see a guy of 40 ish dead centre of this small residential road, no hands and on a mobile. Thank God I did not have a moments lost attention then!

Poorly expressed: He was no hands whilst pedalling a push bike.
Which offers more fun and challenge: Knee down or "Look mum no hands"?
I know which is least irresponsible and skillfull...............
God, I would love to get my knee down just once before before I join the ghost Kwakers in the sky :ohplease:

:mfr_lol:
Actually yes Mr Mecki. Until advised to the contrary, I am unaware that it is illegal :nono: Of course because I can't, it has not been an issue.
I bet there are Flying Brick (K1200rs) riders who can dot it but I have trouble picking up the soap in the shower. Thank God that I am not planning to be in jail any tyime soon :asshole:

Knee down you seek....... if ever you are near St Albans come see the Mogster and I will teach you this dark art........ actually on the GTR it's a piece of piss :smartass: tis all about body position.
and on the subject as to whether it's legal or not depends if you can demonstrate that you were in control of the vehicle and weren't hanging off like a gibbon on a tyre swing...

Illegal or not, IMHO putting your knee down while cornering is more dangerous than riding hands free like the guy in the video.
If you push your bike to the limit there is always a chance that you may loose it.
What was that about hitting a pebble or a pot hole? :ohplease:
And is it actually written in the road code that one has to have at least one hand on the handlebar?
Or is it just regarded as being dangerous by certain :asshole: authority figures who are invested with the power to write us tickets?
Noks .. get a k1600 and you can tell me what it's like ! I was on here for a while before I got my Gtr
The video ? Well it's a funny thing isn't it how we all interpret situations differently ... personally that is not for me ... especially if for what ever reason he came off and either injured himself, at which point no one would care because it's all self inflicted ... or he causes injury to an innocent 3rd party .. THEN that would cause trouble ....BUT, on the other side you could say ... well, it's a long straight road, with no traffic, and havn't we all done that on our bikes when we were young ?? ... he's an old boy so may have experience of riding and is he really causing a problem ??? Answer ? It looks like he's not so just leave him alone to do what ever rocks his boat ! I love putting in both sides of an argument !
Again ...that's what makes me smile about this place ... we all have different views on stuff and it's good to talk about them / argue about them ... or just discuss them in a grown up manner like the adults we are ... now ... where is that bottle of JD ???

He's wearing a flip with it up. Anything could have happened.
On my Raleigh Chopper (silver with alloy wheels  ), I once was having a non hander competition with my mate downhill. Smooth road, done it a million times. Don't know what the :censored: happened, but I ended up with a ton or injuries and the bike fork bent at 90 degrees. It was painful.
FWIW, I still have a Ralegih Chopper mark 2 in my attic. I will get around to restoring it someday.
Maybe he has some HG inner bags stabilising the bike..... :mfr_lol:
