Dave, looks like you had a great day out, apologies for not being able to join you. Two magnesium GTR's cutting their way through North Wales would have been an impressive sight.  :mfr_lol:

Its nice to see some photos, glad you heeded my advice...... :mfr_lol:

the tank harness is made by baglux/bagster, the tank bag is the medium size "minear bag" and expands from 12 to 21 litres I find the medium size bag a perfect size for me! unexpanded it can store a good amount and its not to bulky, so dose not get in the way, unless youv'e got a "big sod off" beer belly  as far as tank bags go! the bagster route is the most expensive. the harness cost approx £100 deliverd and the minear tank bag costs approx £80.00 deliverd, buy both together and possible get the postage free. I did.. not everybodys cup of tea thou! I've always used bagster, so naturally went down this route. also use the bagster harness and minear bag on my atomic silver zzr1400  "colour coded of course"

Yup I'm a Bagster fan as well. I know some of you aren't but the range of different bags for every type of trip is brill and they will fit on any bike with the cover on.
Me and Smarty have 5 bags between, and also when you come to part ex the bike, if you get another make, you ebay the cover and Taa Daa! under the cover is a beautiful dealer pleasing pristine tank :gunsmilie:

5 bags? thought I was fan with just 2  the gtr cover is called "lead" but bagster don't produce a "lead" coloured tank bag  so went for the black  they do a colour coded bag for the zzr1400 atomic silver thou  infact! I thought it look so good I framed it. na! could not be botherd putting the bag on and taking a pic, but already had this pic in a frame already stored on my laptop  p.s sorry about the light flash back on the pic, but I'm no david bailey, but I'm learning

I assume you mean the screen on the gtr? well I managed very well  but it depends on your height ! with me being a "short arse" the standard screen fits me like a glove  infact since I've put the kawasaki low gel seat on it now fits me like a tailored made glove  being a short arse dose have it's benefits you know

I, at least, agree that being 6:4 has its disadvantages....quite a few in fact.   Ideal height range :5:11  to 6:1.

Why? Enormous variety of clothing and shoes available at reasonable price and.................sports bikes can be ridden in reasonable comfort.   Also, the tall (in general) have a shorter life expectancy .....statistical fact.

Now, advantages of being a short arse................ah!  got to rush..........

well a bit of topic but I'm game..lol well I'm 5ft 7 inchs, 12 stone, 29 inch leg I can ride supersports all day with out walking like I've just  :shit: my-self when I dismount  but also suppose that's not much use to me now, taking into consideration I don't own a middleweight supersport anymore  can't think of any advantages of being a short arse, dam! were even the last to know when it's raining  but of the top of my "head" I don't bang my "head" when I walk into a old country pub  " pun intended there" also as far as the ladies are concearned were all the same size laying down  thankfully the low gel seat I fitted on the gtr allows me to managed the gtr much better, the wife reckons I could still do with a extra "inch" but that's her problem, not mine. :mfr_lol:

Well I am sat here minding my own looking at your pictures, when nosy hole sticks her oar in and over my shoulder says, typical man, takes his wife out for a ride and only takes pictures of his bike!
In your defence I said:
1. There are a couple of nice pics of a bridge and a pub, which ended in pain.
2. Perhaps he prefers the looks of his bike, which also ended in pain.

Should have said nothing I guess, still not learned to keep my mouth shut after 26 years!

well "chrisb" sorry about the "grief" that my ride out caused you  "not"..lol  but please tell your good lady wife, that my good lady wife refuses "point blank" to get her leg over  she prefers 4 wheels as apposed to 2 wheels. but understand the grief you got was defo undeserving  after all you where only sticking up for a fellow biker which is very commendable indeed  even thou my wife refuses to ride on my bike. she still as a good moan now and again when I go out on my bike "typical woman" hey!! she once asked me, what the attraction was! I replied now and again I need a dam good ride  needless to say, my dinner was in the dog that evening

Just to extend the point and perhaps get more sympathy, her indoors once accused me of thinking more of THAT GTR than I do of her. My response of "I think more of Barry's (my mate) Pan European than I do of her" was not what she wanted to hear. Women! can't live with them, can't live with them. Ouch my head!
Seriously, I love her to bits, and she never complains (when gagged).
