Does anyone fancy meeting up this weekend, 20th or 21st? I haven't got anywhere definate in mind but I'm thinking somewhere like Arnside or Morcambe. A steady ride out, a bite to eat, chat etc and then just see what the weather looks like if you fancy going anywhere else. Some areas further up in Cumbria are expecting snow which I dont fancy experiencing on the GTR but the weather forecast for Arnside isnt that bad. It even mentions sunshine. :o
Enjoy yourself. I have to head to London for work :(

Lots of time yet before the bike needs to hibernate.
Right, no takers it would seem, shame, could have been a good day out. :(
I'm going to head here...Sunday's ride out (http://visitcumbria.com/pen/hartside-pass.htm)
Its a couple of years since I've been, a very popular place for bikers, especially during the Summer, not too sure about November :D
The weather forecast is going to be cold but dry, I can live with that. Roll on Sunday!!
if the weather ok, would go as far as morecambe for a spin, need to give the zzr1400 a good run. its not been out since the gtr1400 showed its face! will check this post in morning. to see what your doing, and check the weather!
Right I'm gonna stick to plan A, Hartside Pass, Cumbria. If your upto a decent ride out I'll see you there at midday.
sorry mate! but to much on today to be out all day! only plan on giving the zzr1400 a short"ish run out! may be when have more time and the weather picks up, then will be up for the longer ride out!
No worries, we will sort out another suitable date at some point in the future. I was out about six hours all in all. I like to make a full day of it when I'm out. I did get up to Hartside Summit, I'll do a write up with pics later either tonight or tomorrow at some time and stick it in the Adventure section . I also have some video footage which I'll stick on U-tube when I get a chance.
same here! when we go out, it mostly round north wales. and 300 mile round trip is the norm! when the weather picks up, we will arange a meet. am off work tomorow, but bet the weather is crap!!
I'm also off work tomorrow, but will probably spend it cleaning the bike!
