We aren't big movie goers, but having recently watched War Horse, which is an outstanding film, we set off again last night and armed with popcorn, chocs and drinks went to our local Roxy, (yes it really is called that, and yes it really does only have one screen :embarrassed:) to watch "The Best Marigold Hotel".
If you haven't already seen it, then I suggest that you do so.....NOW.....it's absolutely brilliant and will probably go down as the best film I've EVER seen....YES... even better than Kelly's Heroes, and that, from me, is saying something.
What's your fav film
olde coney, if you enjoyed War Horse you may enjoy a tv program which is on this Sunday about the horses which were actually used during the wars, I cant recall which channel its on ITV Ch4 or something similar.

If you haven't done so already you should go and see the play. It's in a tiny theatre and very improvised, e.g. a large hamper becomes a cart and you have to imagine the horse! but it's excellent and definitely had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up. We've been a couple of times and I'd go again.
OC, I thought I was the only person in the world who thinks Kelly's Heroes is a great film!
Kevin
Kelly's Heroes? A seminal classic. In my top ten too
Cinema????
Tiny seats, coughing, rattling crisp packets and that idiot who has to provide a running commentary to his missus.
Nah, I wait until it hits Sky Movies and watch at home if it's any good.
Best Movie ever - Blade Runner, mostly for Rutger Hauers awesome acting.
Best Comedy - Paul (I fell off my seat laughing when he freaked out the 2 rednecks)
For those who haven't seen Kellys Heroes here's a couple of clips...it really is an all time classic and even stands the test of time today
