I'm sure many of you would have read the story of this bloke rescuing his dog from an icy death (http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-essex-17048574).
So imagine the shock on my face when coming into work and finding out it's one of your colleagues and Facebook buddies :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol: :mfr_lol:
I heard about it but until now hadn't seen pictures
I reckon he was both daring and a little crazy... but we Brits do love our pets, so its hard to say what any of us would have done faced with the same situation.
Thankfully both were ok
What an idiot ! :nono: :nono: The very next day there was a picture of a girl actually going through the ice on a frozen lake, taken by a "mate" who had dared her to walk across it .... and of course it all broke up and into the freezing water she fell .... all ok but had to be rescued and off to Hospital .... more cost and time spent by the 999 crews on foolhardy clots :angry: :angry:
I have to admit I would do the same thing. My dogs are my life. :cry:
