Title: Quick release tank bags - Givi or SW Motech
Post by: kwarrgtr on February 15, 2012, 03:38:27 PM
i had a couple of cheapo tank bags for my bm - Louis cost £17, unbelievable value, strapped on but as the tank was under the seat, no probs for filling up.
So not very useful on the gtr. I have seen some posts relating to QR tank bags but would like to get some feedback before I depart with the old spondoolica's!! Ta in advance....

Currently I'm using a bags connect quick attachment onto the fuel filler cap, for a small 'day bag'  which was briefly discussed recently here

I plan to get a larger tank bag which will fit the existing ring attachment and will probably shop her because they are very helpful and seem to be competitively priced.

I use a SW Motech City bag on their tank ring. Its big enough for most things and fits the GTR really well. SW Motech is expensive stuff generally but I've always found it to be good quality.

SW Motech for me too.

Great kit and you get to see your shiny bit - not covered in strips of badly stitched vinyl!

Another vote for the SW Motech setup - pricey but you get what you pay for.

I have the Daypack and never leave home without it - just the right size for wallet, keys, camera etc.
