FFS! how much debate and checking the interweb fer hotels!!!
Bled in Slovina, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bled check out the pics!! we have booked a mid priced hotel near the lake for a week.
Of course the destination is only the cherry, the cake is the ride in, 4 days there and 4 days back, as yet I have not finalised the route in or out, but coming in we aim to drift north, through germany and into Austria, as i fancy a run up the Grossglockner alpine road. http://www.grossglockner.at/en/hochalpenstrasse/
for the route back we shall meander a tad further south and come back through Swizerland, then through france, as there were some places we wanted to vist on our 2010 trip but had to sack seeing as the weather was mosoon!
Anyway me and smarty are itching for the months to fly by and looking to spend some quality time on our bikes, Smartys 1250 Bandit is getting a suspension upgrade soon and i shall be looking to see how far the GTR will go over on the PR3's
As usual I'll have the helmet cam taking pics, so look out for some stunning shots later in the year.!
Well they both look fantastic places .... no doubt you will have a great time and we all look forward to seeing the photos ! :smiley:
Have a look at the web cams if you have'nt already, some very white, stunning views.
Make sure that you really want to visit Switzerland as they tax you as soon as you enter the country, I was just driving through a smmal corner and got caught for the full years road tax, cheek burghers

Ah yes if you are talking about the motorway Carnet, we usually get them and then sell em on ebay when we get back.
Did Slovenia last year, Lake Bled included, stunning country, if you like twisties you will love it!!!

That looks superb, the webcams are currently showing lots of snow, which I'm sure will have gone by the time you get there
