We're going out for a meal tonight..I'd planned to get her some flowers, as ususal, yesterday, but I was called out to Keswick on a job, yestserday and that scuppered my plans.. I'll get some flowers today, and maybe some chocs as well

Like I said before somewhere..."look after them and they'll look after you "

Morrisons at Bradford were selling roses at £45 a bunch at 5pm yesterday, the heads were already going black and wilting. Total waste of money, recently bought the wife a washing mashine for her birthday, surely she cant be expecting anything else.

As I told the lad buying flowers in Tesco on the day..prices mind blowing. Told him & will tell you lot how to save yourself some money. Ditch the Bitch the day before...creep around two days later with a bunch for half the price they were at Valentines....no Joke...!
Go on line & order them there to be delivered. If you do it two weeks before there are no price hikes for the day. The 14th is the same price as all the rest of the days. I had bunch delivered & she thinks I spent a fortune...he hee..!

A mate of mine who NEVER buys his wife of 25+years anything ...even a card.... decided this year to buy her some flowers for Valentines Day and have them delivered...they never arrived and after two days chasing he was offered a full refund and a fiver compensation...he's a chancy git, so he declined the fiver and asked to speak to a boss man..

He ended up with a full refund and a food hamper valued at £50....the spawny git  :surrender:

Mate mine was worse than that...Every Christmas , having never helped put decorations up or lifted a finger all over Christmas , his wife could not work out why he was always so keen to help her take decorations down...
When she realized after about 4 years that her Christmas card was identical to the one he gave her the year before & the year before that , the penny dropped...
Reckon hes related to your mate olcoloney....
