That's a real shame, always had very good service from them in Swindon.
Hopefully a buyer can be found

Have to say I'm not surprised.
I emailed them when Kawasaki announced the 1400GTR asking them to contact me when they had one so I could go look at it.
Got spammed for over a year and never once heard from them concerning the GTR.
Eventually had to threaten legal action to get them to stop spamming me.
If they'd contacted me probably would have bought from them.
As it was, contacted my local Kawi dealer (John E, Vines) and they were very helpful so they ended up with my £11,000.

Amazing Boomer... you would have thought that in such a competetive environment that they would have been keen to releive you of your dosh, the basic rule of salesmanship is to 'follow up EVERY lead'

I have experienced a simular scenario with dealers representing a German franchise, its as if they don't need the business  :o

Like you say maybe you shouldn't be surprised about their demise, sad though it may be

I'm also :( to hear that, because other dealers will be chuffed to death. most likley will put their prices up as well, and bikers will get even less for there p/x. I used to buy my bikes from gt motorcycles in plymouth "4 of them over the years" they also gave a decent p/x and seemed to allways have the bike I wanted. I done the deal with gt motorcycles for my gtr1400 then got a phone call from the salesman I allways bought from to say they had been took over by george white and I would be receiving a call from there swindon branch as they would now be supplying the gtr. at first I was not to pleased, mainly because I had the decision where I bought my bike from took of me, but they honourd the same deal and where very helpfull. the only :( thing was swindon was only 3 hours from my home, plymouth was 6 hours :) which meant less time to ride my new bike ;D
