Title: Headlamp protector.
Post by: Lonewolf on November 02, 2010, 05:06:17 PM
Just bought this today, not sure if its a gimmick or whether it'll actually stop a stone cracking the actual headlamp as I'm trundling along at 69.9999 mph. I guess only time will tell. Has anyone else got one and can give a review?

The previous owner put a clear protective skin on which seems to do the trick.
Definitely worth putting on if you're doing motorway mileage

I only paid £26 for it, not sure if that is a good price or not but its probably a damn site cheaper than a new headlight.

Another job lined up for the weekend. I took delivery of the headlamp protector a couple of days ago, to be honest its still taped up in the box, I haven't had time to check it, probably will in the morning though. Give the headlight a good polish and then stick it on.

I got it off ebay. I've no idea what they would cost new but this one is in good nick, with no marks on it etc.

Hey Mr Wolf, I like the look of that ... you know it would be just my luck ... I have NEVER had damage to a headlight in 30 ish years, and having seen your protector and not having one .. you know it's going to happen !!
