Hi all
My names Dave I live in Brighton and ride a Black 07 bought in 08 with 3500 miles on the clock it replaced a GTR1000
I use my bike for commuting and holidays, it now has 35000 miles on the clock.

Problems I've had with my bike, I had the front discs replaced @7500 after a trip to Switzerland in 08, my first tour with the bike. There's a scabby bit on the rear rim and the paint has lifted.
Other wise all is good.

Hi and welcome to the mad house. take a look at this years weekend bike meet under Adventure, Excursions, Ride outs, TouringGTR in post "GTR Owners Meet 2012 (UK)" hope you can make it :) p.s nice website with useful information on biker friendly hotels. have you any plans for 2012?

The end of August I'm off to Bolzano, Italy. An extended weekend through Germany picking SWiMBO up from Zurich airport on the way.

Yes, I still have my old GTR1000 but haven't ridden it for 18 months.
I hope to get it legal in a couple of months.
The 1400 is still rocking on and now @ 48,000 miles.
