Bah humbug, it's not for a bloody week yet. Glad when it's over and done with and we can get back to some degree of normality. Bah humbug again to ya all. >:(

I hate to admit it but I'm with the Wolfman on this one. :P
Happy Xmas and new year to everyone here
P
May you get lots of bits for your bike and then use the bike to escape the Xmas Day mayhem!
We are having a nice quiet Xmas Day at home, just Ella, myself and the cats.
We are going to watch crap on TV, eat too much and probably drink too much.
The cats are going to eat turkey until they can't move. :-)
As for the rest of Xmas, I'm with Lonewolf and Mecki.
Rampant commercialism and I am ****ing sick of it.
Roll on the end of the January sales so we can go back to the more normal perpetual DFS sales and supermarkets lying about their prices being better than everybody elses. Cynical? Me?
Have fun y'all,
Grumpy Boomer
Apart from the commercialism that is shoved down our throats, its a great time for families to get together and be families for once. So for that I appreciate this long break.
Other than that roll on the new year so we can get back to discussing greedy bankers, the weather, and planning summer holidays.
Amen.
I'm working Christmas Eve on nights, 9pm till 7am Christmas Day. I'll probably spend some of the shift at the local hospital trying to get an account from some pissed up lad as to why he's been smacked, they'll definately be a few domestics, maybe an OPL or two, lots of paperwork, no meal breaks and then booted out the door one minute to seven so we dont incur any overtime.
Oh happy days. ;D
Christmas day, I'll more than likely spend at least half of it in bed. 8)

Poor you....(whats an OPL?)
My better half has gotta work all day - not doing the family bit till boxing day....so.... how quiet do you think the roads will be Christmas day??
Now wheres the bike key.....
Happy Christmas one-and-all (even you old 'bah humbug' types ;D ;D ;D ;D
On Xmas day, as long as the weather holds out, I'll be putting the LED lights on.
Hell, I may even give the bike a wash and covering with ACF50 if I have time
Lonewolf.
Been NARPO for two years and OPL just a distant memory.

OPL, over prescribed limit. Drink drivers. ;D
Rippers ... I shall be NARPO in 4 and a bit ;D :) :)
Back on Borough I remember it was always Boxing Day that the worst domestics came in .. and I mean decent proper assaults ... classic Mother in Law staying and after 24 hrs and plenty of beer the son in law can't hold back any more and off they go ... Christmas ??? A receipe for disaster !!!
I still don't know what NARPO stands for.
