Currently being battered by winds and I've got to ride home in this :'(
Not the wisest of decisions especially as I need to get over the Pennines
Yep, I was doing that comedy lean 15 degrees on a straight bit of motorway this morning. Always good fun, until you go past a truck and the wind disappears.
Just need to work out a way of getting these new hand wings to do the active aero automated stability bit.
Martin.
Yup, the M2 has been more fun ::) quite glad to get home through.
i sat on mine in the garage and made 'vroom' noises for a bit... ::)
I filled the tank to the brim before setting off over the Pennines. The added weight certainly helped.
Rode her to work, rode her home again.
Winds down here weren't too bad.
Had to lean into the wind at a few points but used to that.
The worst was dodging the downed branches and windblown plastic dustbins! ::)
Pulled mine out of the garage at midday, cleaned it and put it back.
Nice and sunny down here in Oxford but looking at the weather north of me coming down then that's where it will stay.
Alan
Lovely bright clear sunny day down here in Sussex but OMG cold and windy !!!!!!! Bike stayed in the garage.
Hi all,
Took mine as far as the bike lift, my Beowulf stainless round bargain got delivered today so finally got rid of one the ugliest exhausts known to man.
Old "anchor" came off easy, new one went back on, looks and sounds great. I will try to get photos done on Sunday.
I was going to take for a test ride but just started to rain
Colin

I looked at mine in the garage and thought " .... roll on spring time....." yes im afraid its going to ge a salt free winter.
Im supposed to be going out on a Rospa ride tomorrow but I think I'd be a fool to go, it's currently snowing, freezing and the Council are out gritting. My bike instructor seemed shocked when I said I wouldn't be riding tomorrow. ???
He's an all year rider on his BMW GS. ::)

They make you do silly things, rode in -10 and up ice covered hills on mine, one of the many reasons I bought a GTR.

Have you seen the exhaust on the new Versys 1000? Now that's definitely ugly!
Not been out on mine the last few days, far too risky! :o
Was in work yesterday on mine. Going in was fine. Going home was a bit soggy. New HG Jacket nice a waterproof. Old Richa trousers, not so much. Soggy undies... (from the rain, before you ask).
got one of those other things that stops the rain, wind, sleet, ice, snow from battering you ;) it's called a car :) but have got the teeshirt thou! when I first got married it was either the bus or bike to work, seeing that I hate buses more than the bad weather. I used my bike which was a kawasaki z650 at the time. it was a 56 mile round trip to work for me in the early to mid eighties, so reckon have done my fair share ;) "cars for bad weather bikes for good weather" now I'm a fair weather biker and enjoying every nice day that come's along ;D
