Ye im gonna take old one off and compare new one. I expect it to be noticeably thicker i hope. More elastic tension and exterior pressure against the walls of the tube that the sensor slides into. Enough i hope to stop the leak. Il let you know 👍

We have a member who sourced them outside of Kwackers as none of the Kwackers ones were worth a  :censored:.  I believe that they were a tad oversized.  I've got them in a drawer somewhere.  I think I had more than one (2).  This is the year I take it off the shelf and install it..  I know mine is leaking but it hasn't been bad enough to worry about.

Going back through that thread and someone sourced them outside of Kwackers...  https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005RUS84I/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.  But you have to buy 20 of the little buggers.

Here's our thread on the subject http://www.zggtr.org/index.php?topic=13866.0 Rich no longer supplies them and I don't see them on Murph's site either  Murphskits.com

Jim your a star i didnt get em from amazon but got em from simply bearings.com in uk. Thanks for the o ring size tho mate. Helped a lot 👍👍 ill give these a go

That's actually not a bad idea except that clear won't work at all.  Not compatible with the seal.  The seal is black.  You must use black sealant to have it seal correctly.  Change the seal out and then apply something like RTV sealant.....black of course.   Additionally the RTV type of sealant is compatible with automotive uses and temps.

Sadly jim that was rtv i used n black too. Its soooo annoying but i think ill oversize anyway then heavily coat rear of sensor so it sills out leaving excess t wipe off this time. Hate doin jobs twice or more.

Well hell charge an arm n leg n put in same seal as before so pointless really but see your logic thanks prd. No ill up the seal size this time n make sure i think n after that ill bloody well leave it whatever the outcome. It only smokes once in a while.

:help: cant believe the bloody things leaking AGAIN 😡😩 new seal cleaned hole and even put on high temp sealant for good measure. Its an awful design flaw. Anyone got any sure ideas. Im thinking of an oversized seal next time. Ruddy infuriating 😡😡

Hey Guys,

Thank you so much to you all for the replies!! You've been a great help with advice on these machines, it's also great that some of you are so local, could be good.....

Well, this morning the dealer emails me and asks if I've made a decision etc, I email back saying that it's a little on the expensive side for a phase 1 and has only had basic servicing so far but I like the bike and am thinking of a potential deal to put forward.....

Come back to an email saying the bikes now sold :-(

Landshark i honestly wonder if hes putting you on and told you that because he didnt want to do a deal. That seams extremely quick to sell a touring bike out of season. Well if hes true then it wasnt yours anyway and if hes not then he will have it hanging around and end up reducing price anyway. Either way your name is on another bike, the one you were meant to have eh. Chin up n dont give up eh 👍👍👍😁

Best Wishes
Land Shark

Rodney the screen is also cable operated. If you get no joy with the other suggestions its possible the cable may have snapped. Just a thought but most likely an electrical fault somewhere. Good luck anyway 👍
