Having not ridden the Old War Horse much since last year this weekend after getting the old girl an MOT I thought I'd use her to enjoy the weather.

No don't get me wrong the K16 is ok..........but it's far from perfect.................

After a good blast on the GTR you really appreciate a sweet gearbox, rear suspension geometry that is not compromised by throttle inputs, quick turn in, fine brake feel, and lovely lovely thrust from peak torque upwards. 

Weight and size wise it feels like riding a CBR600rrrrrrrrrrr etc after getting off a full dressed HD soft fat boy etc..............

Suppose what I'm trying to say............it's .........FUN.......so much FUN and Exciting........did I say exciting ?

Something that some other manufactures just don't seem to understand or encourage within their machine range.

This educated young lady made the national press when her boy friend proposed to her on the stage of the "Miss England" semi finals the other week.

Before I purchased my GTR I used to watch this video and imagine the feeling of escape and joy a bike can bring to life.

To the point that of recent I've been enjoying the feeling of openness an open face helmet brings......

Now when I'm working away from home I watch to remind myself of my ride back home.......
