Hi, as you say, the tyre valves on the GTR as they are on most bikes are not user friendly if you need to pop some air in. I carry the angled valve with me for just such an emergency, only advice I can give though is do not leave the angled valve attached to the normal valve, that sounds like common sense but I have known a few that have left the two connected and then been surprised when their valve gets ripped out at speed, never a pretty sight...... ::)
