Just come across this on Ebay, cool bit of engineering. £16k

Hummmm ... thank goodness none of us are the same and like different things ... but as you say, a clever bit of work  ;D

Cartman

Just shown that to my neighbour, he lost the use of his right arm in a bike accident 50 years ago and has been riding with a side car ever since. He's been admiring the GTr and looking for a trike.....bingo! He's off to do his sums.

Cheers Mr Wolf :D

Love the look of this trike. superb pieces of kit for bikers who are unfortunate enough to loose mobility! if it happened to me I know I would go down that route.  8)
getting there........

+1 It does look good and its route I would go down

Lovely engineering, still quite a good looking bike if you ask me.

I would be soooooo tempted to fit a metal skid plate to the underside of the wheelchair rack and then spend all my days wheelying the thing around. Lets just call it bevel gear strength testing  ;)

Martin.
65,000 miles now. Loving this bike.

I wonder how they sorted the reverse?? - I know a practical question  :o

It did say in the ad there were £15000 worth of work on the bike to turn it into a trike on top of the cost of the bike.

Since I can't see a link to this I assume you meant this one

Very nice, but if it doesn't lean through corners it's a car.
I'd buy a Carver instead.  ;D
