Great pics LW and Rusty, looking forward to taking my boy and my two mates who have just passed their CBT, they are are all very excited  ;D

It's a great place to show people how much fun and variety there is biking.

Just to convince the boy he doesn't really want a motorcross bike  8)

I bought the kawasaki stelvio jacket for £90 (show price) 2 years ago they were £220 and on the kawasaki site they are £175, wore it home wow i was like toast for all the 85 miles would highly recommend these jackets. Got a pair of pazzo levers for the Monster £110, ( £30 off ) but to keep on the good side of her indoors i bought her a ducati corse tee shirt.

get a grip and deal with it

I put this together especially for those who like flashing bright lights and high viz LED's and plenty of glitz. ;)

Time to buy some Xmas decorations and wrap them round the bike, I guess.
I'm still missing those lights you see on souped-up boy racer cars.
You know the ones that light up the street underneath.  ::)
No idea what they are supposed to be good for, but they look so cooool. 8)

BTW once you put a number plate on that thing you probably won't be able to see the green lights anyway.
The later you brake the longer you go fast.

We went on Sunday and was surprised how few people were there compared to 2 years ago. All the same a great day with loads to see and do. Spoke to Tommy Hill for a few minutes (real nice lad), and bought a few odds and ends.

Boomer

I really REALLY wanted to go.
Had booked the day (Monday) off work and everything.
On Sunday night the brake master cylinder in my car decided to die on me.  :( (yes, I did need new underwear!)
Gonna cost about £700 to replace it and some of the hoses so decided I could no longer afford a new lid, or anything else for that matter. So on Monday I stayed at home and tidied up the garage a bit.  :( :(
Life sh!ts on me from a great height once again! Bloody cars!

I've always fancied pimping my ride with a few lights. It's totally not like me at all!

What I actually fancy doing is rigging up a set of red lights where these green ones are to come on when I brake, so I light up the whole back of the bike when I hit the brakes. Should make sure people see I'm braking...

There would be no guarantees. You'd still get some muppet shunting you.

Boomer

Yup, they won't see ya because they ain't looking.
Even though I have high-level brake lights (in the top box) on both my bikes (see my website) I once avoided a tail-ender by squeezing between the car in front and the lorry alongside.
The moron in the car behind plowed into the car in front and luckily pushed him sideways away from me. If I hadn't seen him coming I would be Boomer paste!
Moron was on the phone when he hit and when the cops arrived they cuffed him.  ;D
Personally I would have liked to see them beat him up a bit as he was a mouthy arsehole.  :D
Yup, I needed clean undies that time too.

Couple of pics from NEC

Plenty of flshing lights on this one!

Pity a forward leaning ride position doesnt suit me, but made me wonder what that extra 50bhp would be like!

Did I really used to have one of these?  (the CBF  not PAM!)

and Pam got a tiny glimpse in to life on the front seat!

Mogster

have to say well done Pam!... keep at it, my other half has a bandit 1250 and covers thousands of miles a year here and abroad..  ;D
She is like the Bumblebee, she should not fly....... and yet she does!
