How do you keep your exhaust pipes clean? When you look at the front, so they sit so nicely and screams with dirt firmly burned on. I've heard of something chemistry you could spray on and wipe clean. Some ideas?

I use either 'Muck-Off' or Wonder Wheels with a stiff brush to work it in before rinsing off with water

I buy something from Hein Gericke which you spray onto the pipes and then it eats away at the crap. It must not be left on and needs to be hosed off within 10-20mins approx. Dont remember what its called but it works a treat.

Wash the bike every week and spray " Muc Off " onto those pipes and really rub it in and all around to get the dirt off and they should be fine .....

This is what I have used in the past. Once its sprayed on you can actually hear it bubbling away and eating the crud off the pipes. It smells nice too ;D

I think that tar stuck to the pipes is more of a problem than the actual road crud, my method is to power wash the pipes, oil filter area, then wash the rest of the bike, then spray lots of wd40 onto the pipes before starting the engine the heat from the pipes will soften the tar and the wd40 will allow you to wipe away the melted tar, you may have to apply more wd as you go but it does work. Note dont run engine too long, just enough to warm the pipes or you may find the pipes to hot to work on . ;D
