My lad is into flying and recently went solo in a microlight, a Eurostar, at the Flying Shack @ Gloucestershire airport (formerly Staverton). The view of the airport is second to none, the team at this newly formed enterprise are very friendly, to the extent that I spend quite some time avoiding DIY etc ,sat drinking tea observing whats going on.
If you are interested in flying or just having a look, a cuppa etc, just pop in, beer can only be sold to associated members (£10), you can't miss it, someone has placed a Vulcan cockpit at the entrance!! I am now trying to loose three stone so that the lad can really scare the S--- out of me, 15 stone is the limit.
                                GTR is often in the car park, nice to meet some owners from the local area.
