Last Sunday I led my RoSPA Group  ( www.saparweb.com monthly rideout.

The weather was good other than one very short and not too heavy rain shower. We had 22 bikes and a great day. We went from Shrewsbury, through Welshpool, and Newtown to Llandiloes before heading north west on the B4518, passing the Lyn Clewydog Reservoir, and then onto Aberdovey for lunch via Machynlleth.

The return route took us through Towyn and onto the twisty B4405 to pass Tal Y llyn Lake. Then we went towards Dollgellau before heading southeast towards Welshpool but the final leg took in lots of twisty B roads and back to Shrewsbury. 161 miles in total.
