Would there be any interest in a meet up for users of this forum later this year?

If so, post up on here – I'm away for a week or so now, so we'll see if there are any takers when I'm back and take it from there.

Pete.

Hi All, it's been a while since I was last on here. I sold my GTR 2 years ago and bought a Ninja 1000SX - much more manoeuvrable but not the absolute mile cruncher that the GTR is (mine was sold to a friend).

Depending on details, I would be interested in a meet up.

Hi Rob, nice to know you are still around.

There doesn't seem to be much enthusiasm for my suggestion yet, but if nothing else it would be nice to meet up with you over the summer for a mug of tea and a catch up. I think I still have your number in my phone from the Scotland trip.

I'm always up for a meet. Can't do August though as will be riding in Austria.

Firstly, a sincere apology for throwing this out there and not being able to follow through with arranging something.

Try as I might, I have been unable to spot a clear weekend this summer due to other commitments and allowing for the fact many people would be taking their main holidays in July and August. I still find it incredible that now I am retired it is harder than ever to fit things in.

Let's make an effort to do something next year instead, provisionally 7th/8th June 2025, if anyone wants to pencil in in their diary.

I've only just managed to squeeze in a European trip this year, the panniers are all loaded, oil level and tyre pressures checked for departure to the Sauerland in the morning for 10 days of solo motorcycling. I'll let you know how it went in the usual manner when I return.

Stay safe.

Pete.
