Keep it really simple but how do you post pictures? Spent hrs trying to do it and I now give up! Technaphobe

Are you using a mobile or laptop / PC? If it's a mobile I'm not sure I can help but if it's a PC I may be able to guide you.

It's not too difficult when you've done it a couple of times, but to be fair to you it's not that intuitive.

(In fact I'll do this as I go along to remind myself)

The first thing to be aware of is the size limit for uploads, most of your photos will probably exceed this so the first thing you will need to do is reduce the file size. Make a copy of your photo on your PC and assuming you are running Windows you will probably have a programme called Paint. Open your copy photo in Paint and pick the "resize" icon on the toolbar.

The photo I am attaching to this was 2.56MB. If I reduce it to 30% it is now 534KB which the forum will accept.

No you have prepared your photo, click on the "attachments and other options" button below the post you have typed.

You will have the option to drag and drop your photo onto the page (let me know if you don't know how to do this) or you can click on th ADD FILES button to select them from the folder on your computer.

You should then see a slide bar showing how much of your total upload allowance you have used.

Assuming you are within your allowance you can now click the UPOAD button, you should get a quick message asking if you are sure you want to do this, click YES to confirm.

At this point, if you want to insert the photo into a particular point in your message you can click the INSERT button once you have moved your cursor to the right part of the message.

You cannot see attachments on this board.

Hopefully now you are ready to hit the POST button.

If you want to add multiple pictures you can do this after you have attached first. Keep them to less than 600kb  and the total of them all below 8192kb. If you need more, just start a second message once the first has been uploaded.

Good luck.

Pete.

That sums it up Pete
