hi guys i'm Gerry
I'm picking up my 1st GTR1400 from Victor Devine in Glasgow On Tuesday. 2010 abs model with 18k on the clock. Standard bike except the Gel seat and brand new Akraopvic can. Full service history and i think a steal at £4800. Was going to go back to a Yamaha 900 Tracer but have wanted one of these for years so why not. Had plenty of goes on the ZZR1400 but prefer the big tourers.            You cannot see attachments on this board.

O.C.

A warm welcome to GTR 1400 ownership and also this great forum, where you will find plenty help

Welcome Gerry.

That's a very tidy looking GTR you've got your hands on.

There's some great roads for you to enjoy in your area.

Stay safe.

Pete.

Thanks for the nice comments guys. Been just about every road in Scotland so hoping to maybe take this to Normandy :tank:  in the summer. Always been something i've fancied so maybe start planning it on the big tourer :biker3:

We did get a few GTRs (and others) together in Scotland a couple of years ago for a long weekend based in Tyndrum:

I think a good time was had by all   It would be good to try and do something like that again soon.

Normandy is a bit of an unknown to me but I have found the roads in Northern France start to look a little dull once you have experienced the roads deeper into the country. I had a good two and a half weeks touring there in 2020, the story of it can be found on this forum. I'm also starting to post up some bits of video from the trip.

The GTR is just the tool for this type of exploring.
