Hi All,
Just signed up. Purchased my gtr on Sept 1st specifically to beat ulez, I commute from Basingstoke to heathrow for work and my blackbird and vfr800 both fall foul of these spiteful new rules by 1 year. Still kept the other 2 though:)
It came down to a 3 way choice between pan, gtr and fjr. And in the end I went for the gtr as it was the best option of the 3 available locally
I already have a hopefully minor issue with it which I will post about in a moment in the appropriate thread

Welcome to the forum.

It's a little quiet on here these days but some very clever people still look in now and then and I'm sure they will have the answers to any questions you throw out.

To be honest I've never given the GTRs emissions much though except when I went into France last year, there is a similar scheme in many of the larger French cities and I had to apply for a Cirt Air badge for the bike which only cost a few Euros. The bike came in in the "1" category which meant that I could take it anywhere.

Enjoy the GTR and stay safe.

Pete.

Several of my friends have commented that the GTR feels like a VFR800 on steroids so you should feel at home.😁

A warm welcome along to this great forum (although quieter these days than it used to be) and also to GTR ownership

I hate to mention it after the event but to get your bike ULEZ compliant costs £175, I live in khans fifedom so had to get mine done. I ride my GTR to work everyday about 30 miles each way around the M25 and of course use it for holidays, but love Guzzi's too.

They did both my 1100 1995 Guzzi Carb. Sport and my 2000 Guzzi injection V10.
No changes required to either bike.
Some of the jap manufacturers are able to supply compliance certificates for older bikes, I've certainly heard that Honda are very helpful.
when all else fails read the manual
