It's been over 20 months since I last rode my GTR.
I needed an operation on my ankle which went successfully, and just when I was getting fully fit, I went and injured my tailbone  :censored:

Thought I'd better get the MOT done, only ment to go the MOT station and back, ended up going out for a few hours. Only stopped because my back said enough.

Oil change, new tyres (might try the PR 6) and some TLC are in order in the next few weeks.

The better weather can't be far away now so hopefully that will be the first ride of many.

I know what you mean though, you just think you are going to nip out for an hour and just get carried away

Can't wait to get out on mine. Front wheel currently off and will put new wheel bearings in followed by new discs and pads and a ceramic coating on the wheels and paintwork.
Mine still has the original exhaust so will look to change that at some point soon, probably put a Scorpion system on.

Welcome back Asif
Nothing beats a nice long ride for getting your brain reset.
If my trapped nerve lets me I'm hoping to take my first ride of the year this weekend or next.

Yeah still riding George , I now have a smaller bike (Versys 650) which I can manage much more easier than the last BMW R 1250 GS, which was great to ride but difficult for me to manoeuvre, it had become problematic due to my reduced mobility
